Payment

PayPal and all major credit cards are acceptable forms of payment.  

Shipping

All items will be shipped domestically and internationally using standard USPS First Class Mail or Standard USPS First Class International Mail. If you are international, there is a chance that you will be required to pay customs fees upon receipt of your order.  I am not responsible, nor can I do anything regarding customs fees if you are outside of the US.

Items will ship to the address on your order. Please double check your address so items are not misplaced. 

If it is brought to my attention that multiple orders were made by the same individual, prior to the shipment of each order, I will gladly combine the orders and refund the overage in shipping. I ask that if this is the case, to please contact me to let me know right away that you have made multiple orders and would like to have your orders combined.

There are two international flat rate options; one for Canada and one for all other international addresses.  

A few things to note about the following shipping rates:

  • The following rates may fluctuate based on the current USPS shipping rates.

  • Rates will also reflect the additional cost of using compostable/paper shipping products to reduce plastic waste. Smaller orders will ship in fully-compostable mailers with acid free tissue paper wrapping. Larger orders will ship in non-coated cardboard boxes with acid-free tissue paper wrapping. This effort to reduce plastic waste costs more (and takes more time) than simply wrapping everything in plastic. You (and I) can feel good knowing that no matter how you choose to dispose of your FFTP packaging (recycling, composting, tossing), it will not remain indefinitely—and in my opinion, that’s worth the additional expense.

Domestic Flat Rate:  $3.75 + $1.75 per item

International Flat Rate: $15.00 + $2.50 per item

International Flat Rate Canada: $12.00 + $2.50 per item

Returns and Exchanges

If there is a problem with your order, please contact me within three days of receipt of the yarn via the contact page or email me at contact@fiberforthepeople.com.  Your satisfaction is a leading priority and I will make every effort to correct any mistakes made in orders. In all other instances, sales are final. Please know that every reasonable effort is made to accurately display the yarn. I include photos of each colorway and on each base, both skeined and un-skeined, within each listing. I ask that you take the time to look at these photos before choosing to purchase the yarn. Eligible returns (see above) must be requested via email within three days of the date of delivery.

Yarn must be skeined and free from exposure to smoke (once yarn has been caked or exposed to smoke, it is not returnable under any circumstances.)
